Lecrae - Tell The World ft. Mali Music (Skerrit Bwoy x Electric Gospel Remix)
I have begged and pleaded that there be more christian techno out there. Especially house & dubstep. Skerrit Bwoy & Electric Gospel have taken a step (unknowingly) to fulfill such a wish. I have had the wonderful opportunity to listen to Lecrae's album, Gravity... and I was impressed for what it was. He had a high standard set for him, and he brought it the best he could for God's glory. I admire that alone, but he never fails to bring the quality in his music. Skerrit Bwoy & Electric Gospel seem to follow the same motto, seeing as how this song is nothing short of fantastic. The few people taking the giant leap to remixing one of today's pioneers to christian hip hop says so much about what they really aim to glorify... and how much work they have ahead of themselves as musicians. Oh, what am I saying? The song's quality is superb and on a whole different playing field than Lecrae's original material. They leave the original message in tack and allow a good amount of talent to be inserted in the music. Not a drastic change, but one worthy of listening to. Oh, and it's free. =)
